Preparing for a busy schedule? Make ahead meals to keep you satisfied

As I’m nearing the end of my pregnancy, I have been trying to make a few things ahead of time, now, which I can freeze and thaw later as a microwave meal or quick stove-top heat-through.  Here are some tasty recipes I have made so far!  I have been taking simple recipes and doubling the ingredients.

Curried Chicken Chowder – I would add a little more curry and coconut milk for more flavor, but this is packed with protein and a hearty soup to keep you satisfied! I made this with a fresh salad, but wouldn’t miss the salad if I didn’t have fresh veggies on hand.   http://www.myrecipes.com/m/recipe/curried-chicken-chowder

Slow-cooked BBQ Chicken Sammies – this recipe is delicious and literally the easiest thing I have ever made.  I literally put chicken, and bbq sauce in a crock pot for 8 hours while I was at work.  I added some onion to my recipe as well.  Why re-create the wheel when you don’t have to?

Pickled Peppers and Onions for slow cooker BBQ chicken or any sandwich:  This keeps and gets more flavorful in the fridge as the weeks go on.

Easy Basic Meatballs – You only need about 25 minutes to put these together and you can freeze and enjoy with sandwiches or in pasta or soup, later.  Any recipe will do!  With basic ingredients such as meat (turkey, chicken or beef), egg, onion, garlic powder, salt, pepper, worcestershire and bread crumbs, you’re good to go!

What are some make-ahead meal ideas you have?
