This past week I booked an overdue trip to LA to see my bestie and her new bae. I am so excited for my trip in March and I know the weather will be perfect out there! Me being me I have I have already thought about what I’m going to pack and realized my closet looks dismal at best. In the fall I did a closet clean out and got rid of everything from things that didn’t work anymore to pieces that were just worn out. The weather out there will likely be in the 80’s so I want to be prepared and of course look cute! Here are some of my must-have’s for Spring and for my upcoming trip. The best part of all of these items are that they are super affordable and from Old Navy!

What I Wore This Week!
It has been a wild week in my neck-of-the-woods…we got slammed by Winter Storm Jonas on Saturday which left us with nearly 30 inches of snow, preschool was cancelled three out of five days, and the girls alternated not feeling well. Weeks like this are ones when getting dressed for work is the absolute last thing on my mind so I’m glad I decided to post about what I wore because I had to do a bit of planning
Monday-the girls didn’t have school and I worked from home. We made it a jammy day. I got these pj’s for Christmas and I love them! They are super comfy and super warm. The sweater is the perfect lightweight fabric and it’s not too tight, and the pants are the same great fabric. I literally would live in these if I could. Do I even need to say anything about my slippers…I think not!

Tuesday-there was snow everywhere I looked, so I wanted to be cozy while at work. My favorite over sized sweater was the best option. I paired it with faux leather panel front leggings and my favorite black booties. Simple, easy, and comfortable! My favorite combo!

Wednesday-Half way through the week! The snow still hasn’t melted and a sweater is the most necessary piece of clothing on this side of the Mason-Dixon! I love this cardigan because I can dress it up or down. I could throw a tee-shirt under it and wear with jeans or pair it with a LBD. It’s the perfect cardi and I love the pattern! I’m not much a black dress pant kind of gal and I have a bunch of these black “jeggings.”

Thursday-I did not feel like thinking about getting dressed on Thursday, simple solution…this shirt dress! I love the color and its loose fit. It can be dressed up or down and it goes with my most favorite black booties! My black chunky necklace is one of my oldest necklaces, and it is timeless. I wear that puppy at least once a week!

Friday-Friday is finally upon us; and you know what that means (at least at my office), JEAN FRIDAY! No thought involved in getting dressed today. Grabbed my dressy sweatshirt with a peplum, a pair of skinny’s and my fav tan booties and I’m out the door!

Friday Favorites!
Winter has finally arrived in PA…we had our first snow fall this week and the temperatures finally feel like winter. It’s time to bust out the cold weather gear! I got a ton of great pieces of clothes for Christmas and the girls received some great toys that will occupy them when we can’t get outside.
Playdoh has always been one of my favorite toys for the girls to play with, it keeps them occupied for hours and it lets them be creative. These sets are wonderful, we have about five of them and the girls love creating and pretending with them. My personal favorite is the “My Little Pony” set!
I have been on the search for a long puffer coat with a hood forever, so when I found this Michael Kors coat I fell in love! It is so warm, and the perfect length.
My girls LOVE any holiday, and they are loving anything Valentine’s Day! The same day we took down our Christmas decorations we put up our Valentine’s Day decor. Target has some pretty adorable things that I plan on picking up but in the meantime I found great LED lights and sequined ampersand signs. Both are adorable and were only $3!
This hat…is…everything! I found this at Target before the holidays and was unsure of it until I put it on last week, now I’m building outfits around it. It works with everything and the brim is the perfect size!
My girls love this Ginzick Super Fun Ice Cream Shop! They play with it all the time. There’s tons of play food pieces that go with it. I love it because it keeps them busy and unlike most toys like it, this one is super sturdy, not to mention the price was perfect!
What are some of your favorites this winter??

Rent the Runway Review
I had a little teaser last week for my Halloween costume and you guessed it I went as a bond girl…sort of! I was going back and forth on something to wear and finally Sunday before the event/Halloween I decided to check out Rent the Runway and see if they could ship me something before Friday (procrastinator i know)!
I found that the website was super easy to navigate and they had specific sub categories so that I could narrow in on my vision. I decided to go with the an all over gold sequin Badgley Mischka gown that was gorgeous and came in a short which was another great little surprise. Since it was so glittery I didn’t even have to add any large accessories everything else I had at home!
I picked up a coupon code online for first time users so I ended up with an additional $25.00 off. The dress came in a bag with straps, a return label that slipped in the front and it doubled as a garment bag ( I was obviously very impressed with the packaging). As for the dress it was the most amazing fit in the bust but I made it work and for the 6 hours I had it on it was amazing, I received so many compliments and gave out so many recommendations to use the site. Overall I will definitely use this service again it was a lifesaver in this situation and they have so many options for so many occasions!
The Witching Hour…
With Halloween coming up this weekend I am getting very excited to help at Kristina’s Gala on Friday and dress up. Can you guess what I’m going as??? More on the blog next week as I talk about my experiences with Rent the Runway!
Currently lusting over…
The weather this week has been nothing short of perfect! Sunny and cool, with a nice fall breeze. The leaves are changing and it’s just cool enough that the heat needs to be turned on first thing in the morning. The cool weather has me lusting over some fall gear for me and the girls. Check out the fall items I am currently lusting over!

Fall Friday Favorites!
Fall is almost here! My favorite time of year; I love the colors, the smells, and the cozy felling I get when I think about the change of seasons. I’ve made a list of my fall favorites, some old, and some new!
1) Target Women’s Sawyer Booties-The weather is still warm around eastern PA so I haven’t had a chance to wear these yet, but I’m dying for the first cool day to bust them out. The color is the perfect wear-with-anything tan, and they are so comfortable, not to mention they are very affordable.
2) Essie Carry On-This is my all-time favorite cold weather nail polish. It is the perfect deep burgundy and it goes with everything.
3) Target “Boo Banner”-This banner was a 1$/3$ bin find and I love it! It’s the perfect addition to my mantle. It’s just the right size and colors go with my theme.
4) Yankee Spiced Pumpkin candle-I’m pretty sure every woman looks forward to lighting her first Pumpkin Spiced candle of the season. It’s basically the gift that gives all Fall long! It’s warm, inviting, and boy, does it smell delicious!
5) Crock-Pot-Crock-Pots are great year round but I find I use mine the most in the fall and early winter months. I have a feeling I will be using it a ton this fall! I have found so many great recipes that I intend on trying in the very near future.
What are some of your Fall Favorites? I would love to try out some new things!!

Blogger Babe Thursday!
I know it’s not #WCW but I wanted to do this little feature on a top trend I’ve been following with my help of my OCD following of my favorite bloggers. Since starting this blog with my girlfriends I have found that I have been drawing inspiration from my favorite bloggers for well everything. I look to them to find out daily outfit inspirations, new trends and tips, and even ideas on home decor. With New York Fashion week drawing to an end there was one over arching trend that I couldn’t top staring at, 70’s! The 70’s are back and they are replicating some of the era’s best pieces. From fringe, to flares the trends are everywhere and I think that everyone can pull it off in their own special way. Personally I have made a pledge to try flares this year nothing to pricey and nothing too fancy, a simple dark wash with a large flare and skinny leg. Here are a few bloggers who are doing it all right!!
